Fitness with Helen
Helen Wood set up her new venture Fitness with Helen to encourage people to live a more active lifestyle and for them to focus on their long term fitness and health. Quick fixes and transformation photos weren’t the aim. Helen wanted to target people who didn’t have the confidence, those avoiding exercise or thinking about their health long term or those who just needed support without all the added pressures of hitting prefixed non tailored targets.
Helen came to us for a new identity to convey her values and to appeal to her specific target audience.
After an initial chat with Helen to hear all about her new venture and the ideas she had we got to work.
A strong typographic solution was created to convey confidence, while a softer rounded typeface offered the approachable and personable feel Helen was looking for. We wanted Helen to be the focus of the brand so making her name prominent was important. Helen’s business is made up of three segments, ‘with Helen’, ‘ with Friends’ and ‘with Groups’ so we wanted to keep consistency across all areas in regards to the look. Colour has been used to differentiate between the three which would work well across different marketing platforms and her website. These colours were chosen to reflect positivity and confidence whilst still being approachable.
Claire worked on designing my logo and business cards and was always very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I wasn’t sure what I wanted or what I would like but I was reassured when we met that she was happy to make revisions as any times as possible to get the right end product. In fact that wasn’t necessary as she ‘got’ me after our first meeting, which reflected in what she produced.
