The Surf Report: November 2018

Surf Report-Claire Jenks Design-Industry Update

November’s Surf Report is in! A roundup of some the news happening in and around the design industry that has made an impact with a BIG focus on Christmas adverts!

With Christmas around the corner the focus in this month’s round up is the Christmas adverts that have been flooding our TV screens. These are just a selection from various industries that I’ve been following of late including the big one we all wait for every year and a controversial banned advert.

Christmas 2018:

The big one everyone was waiting for again this year was the John Lewis advert. There has been mixed views on this this year from various age groups. I personally don’t think it’s the full festive feel I may have been expecting but the more you watch it and listen to people’s stories from the different decades the more you “get it”. What were your views?
